This fully automatic peanut oil production line is a complete set of integrated oil pressing equipment specially designed for small, medium and large-scale oil processing factories overseas. It realizes full-process automatic operation including peanut cleaning, shelling, screening, roasting, cold & hot pressing, oil filtering, refining and filling. The equipment adapts to global voltage standards and different working conditions, supports customized production capacity, and can produce multiple types of peanut oil, including first-grade refined peanut oil, strong-flavor hot-pressed peanut oil, and original cold-pressed peanut oil. Peanut pre-treatment process flow
The pre-treatment process of peanuts mainly includes raw material screening, cleaning, crushing and softening. Depending on the different pressing techniques, the pressing process of peanut oil has two types: hot pressing and cold pressing.

Shell removal and screening
When the peanut shell crusher is operating, peanuts are quantitatively, uniformly and continuously fed into the hopper. Under the repeated impact, friction and collision of the rotor, the peanut shells are broken. Then, the peanut kernels and the crushed shells are passed through the sieve (sieves with larger diameters are used for the first shell removal, and those with smaller diameters are used for the second cleaning) at a certain aperture. Under the blowing force of the rotating fan, the lightweight peanut shells are blown out, and the peanut kernels pass through the sieve net, achieving a cleaning effect.
Crushing and steaming
The purpose of this process is to crush peanuts into a certain particle size to meet the conditions for peeling. After crushing, the surface area of the peanuts increases, which is more conducive to the transfer of temperature and moisture during softening. Peanut kernels are soft and usually do not require softening. Sometimes, they can be directly peeled after undergoing appropriate heat treatment. Generally speaking, steaming and frying are adjusted according to the conditions required for heat pressure. When the moisture content is close to 1-2% and the temperature reaches 120-130ºC, the steaming and frying process can be completed, and then pressing begins.

Peanut oil extraction process flow
The peanut pressing process can be divided into three stages: the feeding stage, the pressing stage, and the cake formation stage. The most common type of peanut oil press machine is the screw press machine.
Hot pressing is the traditional method for extracting peanut oil. It involves first heating and steaming the peanuts at a high temperature (usually around 120°C) to cause a series of changes within the oil-bearing material, such as the disruption of cell structure and the denaturation of proteins. Then, the pressing process is carried out. This method has a high oil yield, good taste, and is convenient for storage, and is highly favored by households for use. However, due to the high production temperature, the peanut proteins usually undergo severe denaturation, losing a significant amount of nutritional components.
Cold pressing refers to the process where peanuts are directly sent to the oil press for pressing without undergoing high-temperature roasting or only receiving a slight heating. The production temperature is below 60ºC, which is conducive to the preservation of nutrients in peanut oil and the comprehensive utilization of peanut proteins.
The pressed peanut meal cake can be used as animal feed, and the residual oil can also be extracted through the extraction process for further processing and utilization.

It can thoroughly remove stones, dust, moldy particles and impurities from peanut raw materials, and accurately separate peanut shells and kernels, with raw material cleanliness reaching over 99%, ensuring high oil quality from the source.

Tempering & Roasting Equipment : Automatic temperature-controlled rotary roaster. It precisely controls roasting temperature and time, adapting to both cold and hot pressing processes. Hot pressing enhances strong peanut flavor, while cold pressing retains original nutrients of peanuts, effectively avoiding burnt or undercooked materials.

Main Pressing Equipment : Commercial multi-stage screw oil press (dual-purpose for cold & hot pressing). Adopting high-strength alloy screw shaft and multi-stage progressive pressing design, it provides stable and uniform pressure, adapting to peanuts with different moisture content, with much higher oil yield than ordinary oil pressing equipment.

Precision Filtering Equipment : Vacuum oil filter and centrifugal oil filter. With negative pressure vacuum filtering technology and high filtering precision, the filtering capacity reaches more than 260L per hour, which quickly removes oil residues and impurities from crude oil, making the crude oil clear and transparent without repeated precipitation.

Refining Equipment : Five-stage refining unit (degumming, deacidification, decolorization, deodorization and dehydration). It can effectively remove free fatty acids, pigments, peculiar smells, residual impurities and trace solvents in crude oil. The refined oil meets international first-class and second-class edible oil standards with a smoke point up to 220ºC, complying with global food circulation standards.

Peanut oil refining process
Peanuts are oil-rich crops. Using only the simple pressing method and extraction method cannot produce high-quality refined oil. It is necessary to undergo refining processes to remove various impurities in the crude oil, such as phospholipids, proteins, free fatty acids, pigments, trace elements, etc. The presence of these impurities in peanut oil will reduce its quality and cause hydrolytic rancidity, which will affect the storage of the oil.
The refining process of peanut oil generally involves steps such as degumming, deacidification, decolorization, and deodorization, which further improves the quality of peanut oil.
The standardized automatic production process supports two switchable modes: cold pressing process and hot pressing process.
*Hot Pressing Process (Mainstream for Commercial Sales)
Raw material screening → impurity & stone removal → peanut shelling → kernel screening → high-temperature roasting → screw pressing → coarse filtration → precision vacuum filtration → five-stage refining → finished oil filling → warehousing. Hot pressing features high oil yield, rich fragrance and long oil shelf life, suitable for mass production, supermarket sales and overseas wholesale business.
* Cold Pressing Process (Nutritious Original Peanut Oil)
Raw material selection → low-temperature drying → shelling & screening → low-temperature cold pressing → fine filtration → mild refining → finished oil filling. The whole process operates at low temperature, which does not destroy nutrients such as peanut protein and vitamins. The finished oil is clear in color, light in taste and free of burnt smell, targeting the high-end healthy edible oil market.
Refine and eliminate the unnecessary elements
Decoking mainly involves removing phospholipids and other colloidal substances from peanut oil. By heating and adding chemical reagents, these phospholipids and other colloidal substances aggregate into larger particles, which are then removed through centrifugation or filtration.
The purpose of deacidification is to reduce the content of free fatty acids in peanut oil. Alkaline refining or distillation is usually used for deacidification. The alkaline refining method involves adding an appropriate amount of alkaline solution to neutralize the free fatty acids, generating soap solution and glycerol. Then, the soap solution is removed through centrifugation or filtration.
Decolorization mainly involves removing the pigments from peanut oil to make the color of the oil clearer. Usually, the adsorption decolorization method is adopted, which involves using adsorbents such as activated carbon to adsorb the pigments and other impurities in the oil.
The purpose of deodorization is to remove the odors and volatile substances in peanut oil, thereby improving the taste and stability of the oil. Deodorization is usually carried out through high-temperature vacuum distillation. Under high-temperature and vacuum conditions, the odor components in the peanut oil are volatilized and removed through condensation and collection.
During the deacidification and deodorization process, free fatty acids and low-molecular-weight substances are distilled out under high-temperature vacuum and direct steam conditions. The physical refining deodorization temperature is higher than the conventional temperature. It is generally around 260 degrees.
During operation, it is necessary to pay attention to rapid temperature rise, maintaining a balance between the inlet flow of the deodorization process and the flow of the finished oil, and strictly controlling the deodorization time. This directly affects the technical level of the refining equipment.
