Applications

Propylene glycol can be used as a raw material for unsaturated polyester resins. It is also utilized as a humectant in cosmetics, toothpaste, and soap. In hair dyes, it acts as a moisturizing and leveling agent, as well as an antifreeze. Additionally, it finds applications in cellophane, plasticizer, and the pharmaceutical industry.
