Combining the processability of vinyl polymer with the blocking effect of vinyl alcohol polymer, EVOH (Ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer) offers excellent gas, odor, fragrance, and solvent blocking properties. Its thermal stability makes multilayer containers with EVOH barrier layers fully reusable.
EVOH is the most widely used high barrier material, available in film types such as biaxial tensile, aluminum evaporation, and adhesive coating for various packaging needs. Its gas barrier properties are influenced by the ethylene content, with higher ethylene content enhancing processability.
Characterized by excellent gas barrier, transparency, gloss, mechanical strength, and more, EVOH is used in food and non-food packaging applications. It can replace glass and metal containers in food packaging, offering superior barrier performance.
Not limited to film production, EVOH is also used in cosmetic flexible packaging, floor heating pipes, jelly cups, and pesticide bottles, contributing to environmental protection and improving quality of life.
Choose EVOH by GYF BIOTECH LTD. for high-performance barrier solutions.
